Design Dental was founded in 1986 as Ford’s Dental Lab. After working in the industry for years, Drew Ford decided to open his own dental lab. He received his first case on May 21, 1986, and the rest is history. 

Trey Ford, Drew’s son, joined the business in 2013. A new future was on the horizon. He saw the need for innovation and adaptation as digital dentistry came on the scene. Ford’s Dental Lab became Design Dental to match the vision to provide solutions that meet the needs of dentists and patients through the use of digital technology. 

Today, Design Dental is still family-owned and operated by the Ford family. Design Dental is more than just a dental lab. We consider ourselves a dental solutions company that prioritizes digital advancement and success for all our clinical partners. We go beyond traditional services and offer resources, education, and support in digital dentistry.
